Your machine
How to tell which you have
- One model: this manual covers the Liquidator high speed solution applicator, a key part of Aztec's Sidewinder WorkSmart VCT floor stripping and waxing system.
- Check the controls: two valve control levers on the handle, a front manifold, and a right manifold on an arm that springs back in narrow areas.
- No engine or battery: it is manually powered, with no batteries and no motor.

Set up, run and look after your Liquidator. Everything here comes from Aztec’s owner’s manual and spec sheet, rewritten in plain steps, with the parts you need linked to the list above.
1Check it when it arrives
- Inspect the machine for shipping damage or missing parts.
- Check the chassis: the spreader rubber (AZ175-03125N), the manifolds and the wheels.
- Look inside the tank for the handle hardware.
- Report any damage or missing parts to Aztec within seven days of receiving the machine.

2Mount the handle
- Thread the studs into the four steel inserts on the back of the tank. Hand tighten only.
- Put a nylon spacer and then a steel washer on each stud.
- Fit the handle (AZ224-LQGZ) onto the studs, then add the other washers.
- Put the side arm hanger bracket on the lower right stud. Fit a hex nut on each stud and tighten it. Don’t overtighten: Aztec warns damage may occur.
- Install the valve control levers (AZ314-J208PA-L7/8) on the handle where the blue tape marks the spot, and tighten them.
Source: Aztec Liquidator Owner’s Manual (11-2025), page 5. SES ref PF-ZW6N-RKON
3Fill it and lay down solution
- Fill the tank with water and add the chemical in the amount its maker specifies. Never fill higher than 1 in (2.5 cm) below the lid opening.
- Squeeze the left valve control lever (AZ314-J208PA-L7/8) to lay a 26 in (66 cm) path in front of the machine. Squeeze the right lever to add another 26 in (66 cm) path from the right manifold (AZ012-52-5211R).
- Set the amount of solution by how far you squeeze the levers and how fast you walk. A normal walking speed works for normal jobs.
- The right arm springs back to fit narrow areas. When you finish, return the right spreader manifold to the transport position.
- Never lift the tank by the lid retainer ring. Never ride on the machine or attach a rider platform: injury and property damage may occur.

4Drain, clean, move and store
- Wear eye protection and keep the chemicals off your skin. Lift the “T” handle on the discharge valve at the front of the tank. The solution comes out in a large, steady stream with some pressure.
- Tip the machine forward to drain it fully, taking care not to damage the manifolds or spreader rubber. Dispose of the dirty water and chemicals as the chemical maker recommends.
- Rinse the tank and run clean water through the manifolds. Rest the unit on its handle and rinse the wheels, chassis and spreader rubber (AZ175-03125N).
- Tip it forward and squeeze the valve control levers to drain the last of the water.
- Move it with the front swivel caster (AZ156-2-4056-445) off the ground so the spreader rubber isn’t damaged. Drain and rinse out all liquid before you store or move it in freezing conditions.

Aztec Liquidator troubleshooting
Problems, likely causes and fixes from Aztec's troubleshooting and service pages. Wear eye protection and avoid skin contact with the chemicals in the tank.
| Likely cause | Fix | Part |
|---|---|---|
| Solution keeps running | ||
| Valve not closing properly | Re-seat the valve. Take the valve cable (AZ012-962C) off the valve control lever, hold the conduit in one hand and the cable in the other, pull the cable out as far as it goes and let it snap back. Do this three times. | |
| Valve not closing properly | Check the lever adjustment. Turn the adjusting nut on the valve control lever (AZ314-J208PA-L7/8) and lock it with the jam nut. About 1/8 in (3 mm) of play is normal. | |
| Valve not closing properly | Clear debris from the valve. Squeeze the valve control lever and force water with a hose through that valve port inside the tank. | |
| Solution not spreading evenly | ||
| Tank running low | Refill the tank. | |
| Torn spreader rubber | Check the spreader rubber (AZ175-03125N) for tears and replace it if needed. | |
| Debris in the valve ports inside the tank | Check the valve ports and clear them. Squeeze that valve control lever and force water with a hose through the port. | |
| Uneven flow from a manifold | Open the valves wide and check each manifold for even flow. To clean a manifold, take off both end caps, flush it with a hose and put the caps back. | |
| Leaks | ||
| Leaking fitting | Remove the fitting, clean and smooth the surface or gasket, apply silicone and reinstall it. | |
| Body leak | Contact Aztec Products at parts@aztecproducts.com. | |

Common Aztec Liquidator parts questions
How much floor can the Aztec Liquidator cover in an hour?
Up to 45,000 sq ft (4,180 m²) of solution in less than an hour. The left lever lays a 26 in (66 cm) path in front, and the right lever adds another 26 in (66 cm) path from the right manifold.
Sources: Aztec Liquidator Owner’s Manual (11-2025), pages 4 and 6; Aztec Liquidator spec sheet (05-2026), page 1. SES ref PF-WNNX-Q6E5
How full can I fill the Liquidator tank?
No higher than 1 in (2.5 cm) below the lid opening. Add the chemical in the amount its maker specifies while you fill with water.
Source: Aztec Liquidator Owner’s Manual (11-2025), page 6. SES ref PF-WNNX-Q6E5
Why does solution keep running from my Liquidator?
The valve is not closing properly. Re-seat it: take the cable off the valve control lever, pull the cable out as far as it goes and let it snap back, three times. Also check the lever adjustment; about 1/8 in (3 mm) of play is normal.

Notes on this parts list
Places where Aztec's drawings, parts lists and text disagree, and how this page handles them. If you are unsure, call 800-440-6723 with your serial number.
- Items 10 and 17 are both printed as 175-03125N, Spreader Rubber, 2.5 FT each. Both lines are listed.
- Callout 6 on the drawing has two leader lines, and the list splits it into 6A (Pivot Bolt Spring, 173-MC080011SS) and 6B (Arm Spring, 173-MXQ11509MW). The manual does not say which leader is which, so the drawing has a 6A and a 6B hotspot side by side on the one printed callout 6.
- Items 4 (8" Lid and Ring) and 13 (1 1/2 Gate Valve) each have a callout but are marked “(Not Shown)” on the drawing.
- Aztec prints item 13's number with a lowercase i: 150-i7101. It is listed as printed; call us to confirm it.
- The tank capacity is 36 gallons on page 4 and the spec sheet, but the filling step on page 6 says 35 gallons.
- Operation step 5 (page 6) says “See TROUBLESHOOTING on page 6”. Troubleshooting is on page 7.
- Item 3, Hex Nut (164-22002), is listed as qty 1. The handle setup on page 5 puts a hex nut on each of four studs; the manual does not say whether those are the same nut.
- The clean-up steps name a discharge valve with a “T” handle, and manifold service names end caps. The parts list does not use those names, so the guide does not link them to a part.
- The table of contents calls page 9 “Replacement parts and diagram”; the page itself is headed “Repair parts for Liquidator”. The manual calls the machine a solution applicator and the spec sheet calls it a solution dispenser.
- Descriptions are copied as Aztec prints them.
