“The VP500 is the cordless version of Nilfisk's compact VP canister line, and losing the cord is the whole point. For day porters, hotel housekeeping, offices and schools, there is no outlet hunting, no cord dragging behind the operator and no cord across a hallway for someone to trip over. This package comes with the 6 Ah, 36 V lithium-ion battery and charger, and Nilfisk rates it at up to 55 minutes per charge, which is plenty for spot work and smaller zones. If you need a longer stretch between charges, the 10 Ah version is rated at up to 90 minutes. It still works like a full canister: HEPA 13 main filtration, a 2.6 gal dust bag, 85 cfm of airflow and a foot-operated switch so the operator is not bending down to turn it on. At about 15 lb with the battery and a 52 dB(A) working sound level, it is easy to carry up a flight of stairs and quiet enough for occupied spaces.”
