“The VN20DS is the floor machine to buy when one machine has to cover a lot of different jobs. The standard Venom VN2015 runs at a single 175 rpm. This one gives the operator two speeds: 185 rpm for scrubbing, stripping and bonnet carpet cleaning, and 330 rpm for spray buffing and polishing between burnishes. The speed switch is mounted on the motor, and the controls are at the operator's fingertips. Under the hood it is the same tough build as the rest of the Venom line: a 1.5 hp, dc rectified 66-frame motor, an all-steel triple-planetary gearbox and all-metal construction, with a 50 ft safety-yellow cord. At 98 lb it has enough weight to keep a stripping pad working, and the sound level stays at 65 to 68 dB A. It is a good fit for schools, healthcare, kitchens and gyms that want one machine for scrubbing, stripping and polishing. If you need a true high-gloss burnish, look at a 1,500 rpm burnisher instead.”

What is the difference between the two speeds?
