“The X839 C83905-05 is a 15-gallon critical filter vacuum for collecting hazardous dust, fine powders and nuisance dust by vacuuming instead of sweeping. Minuteman built the X839 line for the safe removal of hazardous and toxic materials, so it fits abatement crews, brake service areas and plants with fine-powder housekeeping.
This is the dry-only polyethylene version. The seamless molded tank won't corrode, snap clamps hold the lid tight, and air passes through a cloth filter bag and paper filter protector bags before the HEPA filter in the lid, which Minuteman rates at 99.97% at 0.3 microns. The 105-inch lid moves 115 CFM, and the tank rolls on 8-inch rear wheels and front swivel casters.
Two things to plan for. Hose and tools are separate, so pick a kit such as Minuteman's 20C dry tool kit. And it is set up for dry pickup only; if you also need to recover liquids, the C83905-16 wet/dry version is the better match.”

The Minuteman X839 C83905-05 is a dry-only critical filter vacuum built around a seamless, molded linear polyethylene 15-gallon (57 L) tank that does not corrode. Minuteman designed the X839 series for the safe removal of hazardous and toxic materials, nuisance dust and fine powders. Its 115-volt lid assembly includes a HEPA filter rated at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns.
The lid delivers 115 CFM of airflow and 105 inches (2,667 mm) of water lift, with a 72 dB sound rating. Air passes through a cloth filter bag with frame and paper filter protector bags before reaching the HEPA filter. Snap clamps hold the lid securely to the tank, an automatic shut-off guards against liquid or foam, and the tank rolls on 8-inch rear wheels and front swivel casters.
