“The T500e is the walk-behind we suggest when a building has outgrown a small scrubber but a 32 gal industrial machine would be overkill: schools, clinics, offices, mid-size retail and restaurants with a back-of-house floor to keep up. The 26 in disk version is the most compact of the family. It is 27.5 in wide and turns around in a 59 in aisle, so it moves easily through classroom doors, between shelving and around fixtures. Tanks are a solid size for the class, 22.5 gal of solution and 27 gal of recovery, and Tennant rates the 26 in disk at up to 20,571 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage. Operation is simple. 1-STEP controls start scrubbing with one button, the pad drivers attach without tools, and Tennant says the standard squeegee picks up 100% of the water in 180 degree turns. At 67.4 dBA it is quiet enough for daytime work. This package runs on 225 Ah wet batteries with an on-board charger.”

The Tennant T500e is a mid-size walk-behind floor scrubber for schools, healthcare, offices and retail. This unit has the 26 in (650 mm) dual disk deck, a 22.5 gal solution tank and a 27 gal recovery tank, and Tennant rates it at up to 28,600 sq ft per hour theoretical and 20,571 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage.
It is the T500e 26 in disk base package (Tennant standard configuration T500E-1001D): conventional cleaning, 225 Ah wet batteries (24 V), a 25A, 100-240 V on-board charger and pad drivers for the 26 in deck.

Tennant T500e 26 in: common questions
How long does it run on a charge?
Tennant publishes run times for the optional 260 Ah wet pack: up to 4.5 hours on the 26 in disk in continuous scrubbing at low down pressure. This unit has the standard 225 Ah pack, so expect less. Ask us for an estimate for your floors.
Will it fit through standard doors?
The 26 in T500e is 58.5 in long and 27.5 in wide, 38.3 in across the squeegee, and turns around in a 59 in aisle. Measure your tightest doorway and aisle before you order.
Does it use ec-H2O NanoClean?
No. This unit cleans conventionally with your own detergent. ec-H2O NanoClean is a factory option on the T500e.
How does it compare with the T600?
The T500e is smaller and lighter, with 22.5 / 27 gal tanks and a 24 V system. The T600 steps up to 32 / 37 gal tanks, 36 V and decks up to 36 in.
