“The 6100 is Tennant's sub-compact rider, and its size is the point. At 31.8 in wide it is built to pass through 36 in doorways and work down narrow aisles where a bigger rider cannot go, but the operator still rides instead of walking. It sweeps a 30 in path with the standard right side brush, or 38 in with optional dual side brushes, and Tennant rates average coverage at 35,640 sq ft per hour with the single side brush. The 36 V system runs up to 3.4 hours on the base 225 Ah batteries, and battery power means no fumes, so it fits indoor work in warehouses, schools, hospitals and retail stores. A multi-stage filter system with a shaker holds dust down while it sweeps, and the hopper rolls out on its own wheels for dumping. The 3 cu ft hopper is sized for routine sweeping. If you are picking up heavy debris or sweeping big outdoor lots, a larger rider such as the S16 is the better fit.”

The Tennant 6100 is a battery-powered ride-on sweeper for warehouses, manufacturing plants, schools, airports, convention centers and other buildings with tight aisles and standard doorways. A 22 in main brush and a 16 in side brush sweep a 30 in path in one pass, debris goes into a 3 cu ft hopper, and Tennant rates average coverage at 35,640 sq ft per hour.
This base configuration runs on a 36 V wet battery pack (225 Ah) for up to 3.4 hours, with an off-board charger. Battery power keeps it quiet and fume-free for indoor sweeping.

Will the 6100 fit through a standard doorway?
Tennant builds the 6100 with 36 in doorway pass-through clearance. The machine is 31.8 in wide and needs a 72 in aisle to turn around.
How long does it run on a charge?
Tennant rates the base 225 Ah batteries at up to 3.4 hours. Actual runtime depends on the floor, the debris and how the machine is driven.
Can it sweep carpet?
Yes. Tennant says the 6100 cleans hard and soft floors, and offers non-marking tires and a carpet brush as options for carpeted spaces.
How do you empty the hopper?
The 3 cu ft hopper glides out of the machine on built-in wheels with a handle, so the operator can roll it to the dumpster.
Can I add a second side brush or a vacuum wand?
Yes. Tennant offers dual side brushes, which widen the sweep path to 38 in, plus a dry vacuum wand, HEPA filtration and light packages as options.
