“The 3640 is a battery walk-behind sweeper for manufacturing plants, warehouses, parking decks, retail back rooms and sidewalks, anywhere a push broom is too slow and a rider is more machine than you need. The 24 in main broom and right-hand side brush sweep a 32 in path, and Tennant rates it at up to 25,000 sq ft per hour. It throws debris directly into a 3 cu ft hopper, and the panel filter with a timed shaker plus the high airflow system keep dust down while you sweep. The propel system is variable forward and reverse up to 2.9 mph, so the operator walks at a comfortable pace instead of pushing. Main and side brushes are self-adjusting and the main broom is quick-release, so brush changes take no tools. It runs on two 130 Ah wet batteries with an off-board charger, and Tennant rates that pack at 2 to 3 hours. For outdoor work, rougher floors or carpet, Tennant offers options like pneumatic tires, dual side brushes and a carpet package.”

The Tennant 3640 E is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind broom sweeper for manufacturing, warehouse, retail and commercial floors, indoors and out. A 24 in main broom and a right-hand side brush sweep a 32 in path into a 3 cu ft hopper, with variable-speed propel up to 2.9 mph.
This is the Tennant 3640 E base build: two 130 Ah wet batteries, an 11 A off-board charger, UL Type E rating, a right-hand side brush, a main broom, the panel filter with timed shaker and the high airflow system.
