“The E5 is a compact, low-profile carpet extractor for crews that need to deep clean carpet in tight spaces: hotel rooms, offices, classrooms and healthcare spaces. It is a self-contained upright, so solution goes down and dirty water comes back up in one pass, with a 15 in cleaning path and 5 gal solution and recovery tanks. The low profile lets it reach under beds, desks and tables, and the Insta-Adjust handle extends that reach. Tennant uses a double-tuft brush that adjusts to different carpet pile heights without tools, plus dual overlapping spray jets so the whole path gets wet evenly. What maintenance staff tend to like is the Hygenic tank: it is fully cleanable, which helps prevent mold, bacteria and odor in the recovery side. At 69 dBA it is reasonable for occupied buildings. It plugs into 120 V with a 50 ft safety yellow cord. The Carpet and Rug Institute certified it at the Silver level for cleaning performance.”
