“If your crew is still scrubbing with one machine and buffing with another, the FM-20-DS can replace both. It is a 20 in corded floor machine with two speeds: 185 rpm for scrubbing and stripping, and 330 rpm for spray buffing and polishing. That makes it a practical all-around machine for schools, churches, clinics, offices and retail stores that maintain VCT and other finished hard floors. Tennant built it around a 1.5 hp permanent magnet DC motor driving a triple planetary gearbox, for heavy-duty performance. The housing and handle are corrosion-proof rotationally molded polyethylene, and the simplified design needs little maintenance. Operators control it with a twist grip that has a safety lock. It plugs into a standard 120 V outlet with a 50 ft cord, weighs 97 lb and runs at 71 dBA. Tennant also offers an optional 3 gal solution tank, which lets the operator scrub without dragging along a separate bucket.”
