“If you manage a lot of carpet, the hard part usually isn't the deep clean. It is keeping traffic lanes looking good between deep cleans without closing areas for half a day. That is the problem the R14 is built to solve. In ReadySpace mode it cleans with soil-transfer rollers and very little water, and Tennant says the carpet is dry in less than 30 minutes, so lobbies, corridors and meeting rooms can stay open. When it is time to restore the carpet, the same machine switches to deep extraction with dual counter-rotating brushes, and the change takes no tools. The operator rides, which matters on big jobs: the R14 cleans a 28 in path and holds 32 gal of solution, so it covers far more carpet per shift than a walk-behind. Tennant rates it at up to 10,000 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage in ReadySpace mode and 5,000 in extraction. ReadySpace uses damp soil-transfer rollers and very little water for frequent cleaning with fast drying. Extraction sprays more solution and agitates with counter-rotating brushes for a deeper, restorative clean.
