“If you are burnishing a supermarket, a big-box store or a long run of school corridors every night, the 27 in SpeedGleam Rider is the size we would look at first. The wider pad covers more floor on every pass, and Nobles rates the machine at up to 30,000 sq ft per hour. The operator rides, picks one of three speeds and one of three down-pressure settings, and the 4 hp direct-drive motor keeps the pad at 1,500 to 1,600 rpm. Power comes from six 435 Ah wet batteries on a 36 V system, good for up to 3.5 hours per Nobles, and the charger is on board. The 27 in model adds a 4 in toe kick pass under, so the pad can reach under display bases and fixture kick plates. It is 31.5 in wide, so check your tightest doorway first. The head lifts automatically for pad changes, and supervisor lock-out keeps settings the same from shift to shift.”

The Nobles SpeedGleam Rider 27 in is a ride-on battery burnisher for supermarkets, big-box retail, schools, airports and other large hard-floor facilities. A 4 hp direct-drive motor spins the 27 in pad at 1,500 to 1,600 rpm, a 4 in toe kick pass under reaches below fixtures, and the operator picks from three speeds and three down-pressure settings from the seat.
This is the Nobles SpeedGleam Rider 27 in base build: six 6 V, 435 Ah wet batteries (36 V), an on-board 25 A charger, passive dust control, the automated head lift, supervisor lock-out controls, a back-up alarm, an adjustable seat and the operator manual.

Nobles SpeedGleam Rider: common questions
How long does it run on a charge?
Nobles lists a 3 hour minimum at the low down-pressure setting and up to 3.5 hours. Higher down pressure draws more current and shortens run time.
Where do I charge it?
The 25 A charger is on board, so you plug the machine into a standard outlet wherever it parks. Nobles lists a full charge at 18 hours or less.
Will it fit through my doorways?
The 27 in model is 58.5 in long, 31.5 in wide and 55 in high. Measure your narrowest doorway and any elevator before you order. If space is tight, the 24 in model is 30 in wide.
What does the toe kick pass under do?
On the 27 in model, the burnishing head reaches 4 in under overhangs such as display bases and kick plates, so less edge work is left for later.
Does it control burnishing dust?
Passive dust control is standard. Active dust control with 4-stage HEPA filtration is a factory option.
