“The T500 26 in is the version to look at when a facility needs real tank capacity but still has furniture, doorways and narrow aisles to work around: schools, offices, clinics and smaller retail. The 26 in dual-disk deck is the most maneuverable T500 and needs 59 in of aisle to turn around, yet it still carries a 22.5 gal solution tank and a 27 gal recovery tank for long routes between dump-and-fill stops. This package is the conventional T500, scrubbing with water and detergent, with the Pro-Membrane control panel, so supervisors can preset three Zone Settings for different floors and lock out changes. It also comes with Smart-Fill automatic battery watering on the four 6 V, 225 Ah wet batteries, which takes battery watering off the crew's to-do list. Quiet-Mode drops the sound level to 61.7 dBA for daytime cleaning in occupied buildings. If your floors are more open, the 28 in and 32 in T500 packages cover more ground per hour, and an ec-H2O NanoClean version of this 26 in machine is also available.”
A mid-size 26 in scrubber with automatic battery watering
The Tennant T500 is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber for schools, healthcare, grocery, retail and other mid-size floors. Two 13 in disks clean a 26 in (650 mm) path, and the 22.5 gal (85 L) solution and 27 gal (102 L) recovery tanks keep it on long routes between dump-and-fill stops.
This package (T500-2001D) has the Pro-Membrane control panel, four 6 V, 225 Ah wet batteries with Smart-Fill automatic battery watering, conventional cleaning with water and detergent, a 25 A on-board charger and a set of pad drivers.

Do the batteries need watering?
They are wet batteries, but this package includes Smart-Fill automatic battery watering, which fills them correctly from an on-board 0.66 gal tank. The operator only refills that tank.
Does it come with pad drivers or brushes?
One set of pad drivers comes standard. Polypropylene or nylon 26 in disk brushes can be chosen in place of the pad drivers when you order.
How much floor can it clean in an hour?
Tennant estimates about 20,571 sq ft per hour of practical coverage, with a theoretical max of 28,600 sq ft per hour.
Will it fit my aisles and doorways?
The 26 in T500 is 58.5 in long, 27.5 in wide and 43.3 in high, the squeegee is 38.3 in wide, and it needs 59 in of aisle to turn around. Measure your tightest doorway and aisle before you order.
What does Quiet-Mode do?
