“The 32 in T500 with ec-H2O NanoClean is aimed at big, open floors where a facility wants maximum walk-behind coverage and less chemical handling: large retail and grocery, school commons and cafeterias, gyms and wide hospital corridors. With ec-H2O, Tennant rates the 32 in deck at about 27,323 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage, the highest of the T500 disk packages, and up to 35,200 sq ft per hour theoretical. ec-H2O electrically converts water into a cleaning solution, and conventional mode is still there for heavier soil. The 46.6 in squeegee covers the full path, the machine needs 61.6 in of aisle to turn around, and the 22.5 gal and 27 gal tanks keep it on the route. This package comes with the Pro-Membrane control panel with Zone Settings, four 6 V, 225 Ah wet batteries with Smart-Fill automatic battery watering, and an on-board charger. Quiet-Mode lowers the sound level to 61.7 dBA for daytime cleaning. For greasy kitchen floors, keep in mind that Tennant says ec-H2O isn't suited to heavy concentrations of fats and oils.”

The Tennant T500 is a battery-powered, self-propelled walk-behind floor scrubber for schools, healthcare, grocery, retail and other mid-size floors. Two 16 in disks clean a 32 in (800 mm) path, and the 22.5 gal (85 L) solution and 27 gal (102 L) recovery tanks keep it on long routes between dump-and-fill stops.
This package (T500-3003D) has the Pro-Membrane control panel, four 6 V, 225 Ah wet batteries with Smart-Fill automatic battery watering, ec-H2O NanoClean cleaning, a 25 A on-board charger and a set of pad drivers.

Tennant T500 32 in: common questions
Do the batteries need watering?
They are wet batteries, but this package includes Smart-Fill automatic battery watering, which fills them correctly from an on-board 0.66 gal tank. The operator only refills that tank.
Does it come with pad drivers or brushes?
One set of pad drivers comes standard. Polypropylene or nylon 32 in disk brushes can be chosen in place of the pad drivers when you order.
How much floor can it clean in an hour?
Tennant estimates about 27,323 sq ft per hour with ec-H2O and 25,714 conventionally, with a theoretical max of 35,200 sq ft per hour.
Will it fit my aisles and doorways?
The 32 in T500 is 61.1 in long, 33.5 in wide and 43.3 in high, the squeegee is 46.6 in wide, and it needs 61.6 in of aisle to turn around. Measure your tightest doorway and aisle before you order.
Can I still use detergent?
Yes. ec-H2O machines have two scrubbing modes, so the operator can switch to conventional scrubbing with detergent for heavier soil. Tennant notes ec-H2O isn’t suited to heavy concentrations of fats and oils.
