New Tennant T600 Walk-Behind Scrubber 700 mm / 28" Orbital
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The orbital T600 does something a standard disk machine can't: it scrubs with a rectangular pad that oscillates at 2,200 rpm instead of spinning, which makes it a strong tool for heavy daily scrubbing and for taking floor finish off without the usual caustic stripper. Tennant says the orbital head allows chemical-free floor finish removal, so schools, healthcare and retail can strip and recoat with less chemical and less mess. On the 28 in orbital deck, Tennant rates the T600 at up to 24,005 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage, and it needs only a 60.6 in aisle to turn around, the tightest of any T600 deck. You still get the full 32 gal solution and 37 gal recovery tanks, the same 36 V battery system as every T600, Pro-Membrane zone settings and Quiet-Mode, which drops it to 62.3 dBA. For a building that refinishes floors in-house, it can do double duty as the daily scrubber and the stripping machine.”
A 28 in orbital T600 for deep scrubbing and finish removal
The Tennant T600 is an industrial walk-behind floor scrubber. This unit has the 28 in (700 mm) orbital scrub head, a rectangular pad that oscillates at 2,200 rpm, with a 32 gal solution tank and a 37 gal recovery tank. Tennant rates it at up to 36,960 sq ft per hour theoretical and 24,005 sq ft per hour of estimated coverage.
Tennant’s T600 standard equipment includes a 36 V, 240 Ah wet battery pack, a charger, conventional scrubbing and the Pro-Membrane control panel with three Zone Settings.
Condition: New.

Questions
Tennant T600 orbital: common questions
Can it strip floor finish?
Tennant says the T600’s orbital scrub head allows chemical-free floor finish removal, which can virtually eliminate caustic stripping chemicals. Results depend on the finish, the pad and the number of coats.
How long does it run on a charge?
Tennant publishes run times for the optional 360 Ah pack: up to 6.5 hours on the 28 in orbital deck. With the standard 240 Ah pack, expect less. Ask us for an estimate for your floors.
Will it fit my aisles?
The 28 in orbital T600 is 62.6 in long, 29.4 in wide and 38.3 in across the squeegee, and it turns around in a 60.6 in aisle.
How does its coverage compare with the 28 in disk?
Tennant rates the 28 in orbital at the same 24,005 sq ft per hour estimated coverage as the 28 in disk, and it turns around in a tighter aisle: 60.6 in versus 65 in.
