“A backpack vacuum earns its keep in places an upright struggles: stairs, offices full of chairs and desks, classrooms, theater rows, ceiling vents and the edges of every room. The V-BP-6 is Tennant's corded 6 qt model, and at 13 lb it is light enough to wear for a full route. What sets it apart is the harness. Tennant uses a Deuter hiking harness with height adjustment, stabilizer straps, breathable mesh and shaped shoulder straps and hip belt, which Tennant designed to decrease muscle fatigue. The on/off switch sits on the hip belt, and the harness has cord strain relief to help protect the cord. Filtration is 4-stage HEPA, rated 99.97% at 0.3 micron, and at as low as 67 dBA it is quiet enough for daytime cleaning. It is CRI Gold certified. As a demo, it is a lightly used way into a professional backpack vac, so ask us about its condition and which tool kit is with it.”
A corded backpack vacuum built around the operator
The Tennant V-BP-6 is a 6 qt corded backpack vacuum for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, theaters and other buildings with lots of furniture, stairs and edges. It weighs 13 lb, runs on a 50 ft cord and filters through a standard 4-stage HEPA system.
An adjustable Deuter hiking harness spreads the weight to cut operator fatigue, and three tool kits let you set it up for the job, including the Sidewinder kit that Tennant says can add up to 50% more productivity.
