“The EX-SC-1020 is a mid-size, self-contained extractor, which makes it a practical choice for schools, offices, hospitals, hotels and restaurants that deep clean their own carpet. Everything is on one machine: a 10 gal solution tank, a 14.5 gal recovery tank, a 100 psi pump, dual spray nozzles and a brush deck with a stiff brush, all cleaning a 17 in path. That means one operator can walk in, plug into the 50 ft cord and start cleaning with no hoses or wands to set up. Tennant built it to be agile, with a low-center-of-gravity bladder system that keeps it easy to steer in classrooms and offices but still lets it work through open areas. The handle grip and trigger solution control keep hand movement down over a long job. It is certified Bronze by the Carpet and Rug Institute. As a demo, it gives you a proven extractor with light use behind it, so ask us about the condition of this unit. If most of your carpet is large open space, a wider extractor will cover more floor per pass.”

The Tennant EX-SC-1020 is a walk-behind, self-contained carpet extractor for classrooms, office buildings, hospitals, restaurants and other carpeted areas, small or open. It sprays, scrubs and recovers in one pass across a 17 in path, with a 10 gal solution tank and a 14.5 gal recovery tank.
Dual spray nozzles and a brush deck with a large motor and stiff brush give it the agitation for deep cleaning, while the controlled agitation is designed to remove tough soil without damaging the carpet.

What does self-contained mean?
The solution tank, recovery tank, pump, vacuum and brush are all on one walk-behind machine. The operator sprays, scrubs and extracts in a single pass, with no separate wand or hose setup for open carpet.
How big are the tanks?

Does it heat the water?
