The 15 in cylindrical brush scrubs and the squeegee picks up in the same pass, so the floor is left dry and safe to walk on. It cleans in reverse as well as forward, which helps when you are backing out of a restroom stall or a tight aisle, and at 68 dBA it is quiet enough to run while customers or staff are around. This unit has the AGM battery, which Tennant rates at up to 45 minutes of run time. That is a good match for standard daily cleaning with one or two charges a day, like a store entrance or a handful of restrooms. The handle folds down for storage, so the machine tucks into a janitor closet when the job is done. This is a demo unit, so it has seen light use. The Tennant T1B is a battery-powered walk-behind micro scrubber with a 15 in (380 mm) cylindrical brush, a 2.5 gal (9.5 L) solution tank and a 3.4 gal (12.9 L) recovery tank. Tennant built it to replace the mop and bucket in small, congested areas such as entryways, vestibules and checkout aisles, and it scrubs and dries in both forward and reverse. With no cord to manage, it is safer to use while people are present, and its water recovery leaves hard floors dry, even through 180-degree turns.
This unit is the AGM battery package (Tennant 2112716): a 12.8 VDC AGM battery rated for up to 45 minutes of run time, with a 126 lb net weight.

The T1B base is 19.7 in wide (17.5 in squeegee) and 45.4 in long with the handle in the working position, so it fits around fixtures, stalls and checkout lanes. Fold the handle and it is 27.3 in long and 23.8 in high for storage.

Tennant rates the AGM battery at up to 45 minutes of run time. Tennant recommends AGM for standard daily cleaning with 1 to 2 charges per day. Actual run time depends on the floor and how the machine is used.
