“The Tennant T3 is one of those machines that just makes sense for everyday scrubbing in spaces where a bigger scrubber would feel clumsy. It's a compact, battery-powered walk-behind with a 20" disk head, so it covers a respectable amount of floor while still slipping easily around shelving, desks, restroom fixtures, and tight hallways. It's also notably quiet, which means you can run it in a school, office, or healthcare facility during operating hours without disrupting anyone.

What we like most is how easy it is to live with. Brushes and the squeegee come off without tools, the tanks open up fully so they're simple to rinse out, and the onboard charger means you just plug it into a wall outlet at the end of the shift. You'll get a solid couple of hours of scrubbing per charge, which is plenty for most small and mid-sized facilities. For retail stores, offices, schools, clinics, and light commercial spaces, the T3 is a dependable, no-fuss workhorse.”

Compact walk-behind floor scrubber

The Tennant T3 20" traction drive model is a battery-powered, walk-behind floor scrubber with a 20" cleaning path and a disk scrub head that runs at 230 rpm, driven by a 1.0 hp brush motor with two down-pressure settings of 50 lbs and 90 lbs. It carries a 10.5-gallon solution tank and a 15-gallon recovery tank, both full-access Hygenic® designs that can be opened and cleaned completely. Recovery is handled by a two-stage, 0.5 hp vacuum motor and a parabolic squeegee designed to pick up solution even through 180-degree turns. The 24V system with 155 AH batteries provides up to 3 hours of continuous run time and a theoretical maximum productivity of 23,800 sq. ft. per hour. The machine measures 50.25" long, 30" wide with the squeegee, and 43" high, and weighs 391 lbs with batteries.

The T3+ 24" traction drive model shares the T3's tank capacities, vacuum system, and 24V, 155 AH battery system with up to 3 hours of run time, but adds a wider 24" cleaning path. Its 0.875 hp brush motor runs at 285 rpm with the same 50 lb and 90 lb pressure settings, for a theoretical maximum productivity of 28,560 sq. ft. per hour. Despite the wider path, it is slightly shorter at 48.25" long while keeping the same 30" width and 43" height, which allows it to clean in the same spaces as a traditional 20" scrubber. It weighs 391 lbs with batteries and is sized for small to mid-sized retail facilities and route cleaners.

Both models operate at 68.5 dBA at the operator's ear and include an onboard charger, a debris tray in the recovery tank, a self-adjusting splash skirt, and simple operator controls with clear sight lines. Brushes and squeegees can be removed and replaced without tools, and the squeegee blade is factory set at its recovery angle.
